Material

All components in contact with drinking water are made of the lead-free material Ecobrass. Due to the low zinc content, Ecobrass has a particularly high corrosion resistance. It easily meets the specifications of DIN50916-T1 with regard to stress corrosion cracking. 

The use of Ecobrass as a brass material not only complies with future legal requirements, but also with safety, hygiene and health aspects. The very high copper content of 75% makes a significant contribution to the hygiene of drinking water installations. Ecobrass is listed both on the Federal Environment Agency's positive list and on the GMS list of the German Brass Plumbing Association and is therefore demonstrably hygienically and technically suitable. By using Ecobrass, we are therefore able to meet our high quality standards even without lead.

Reducer fitting

In the past, Qn6 water meter brackets were increasingly used in houses. However, these are too large for their intended use. There are two options here:

Replacing the entire water meter installation (very time-consuming and cost-intensive)
Use a reducer fitting in the existing bracket (the new Qn2.5 water meters can be installed in the oversized bracket using this fitting).
We offer the following variants:

to reduce Q3 = 10 (previously Qn 6) to Q3 = 4 (previously Qn 2.5) or to reduce Q3 = 16 (previously Qn 10) to Q3 = 4 (previously Qn 2.5).
