Why Brass in the Drinking Water installation

Corrosion resistance & durability

Brass is extremely resistant to corrosion, especially to drinking water. The use of brass in drinking water pipes prevents rust or corrosion that could affect water quality.

It does not tend to break or fail over time, minimizing the need for repairs or replacement.

Toxicity & deposits

Brass is a safe material for contact with drinking water - especially if it is lead-free.

Brass does not tend to deposit deposits or corrosion products that could impede the flow of drinking water. This helps to maintain an efficient and reliable water supply.

Environmental compatibility

Brass is a recyclable material, which increases its environmental friendliness and offers the possibility of using recycled brass products in drinking water installations.

Lead in Brass Materials

An obsolete model?

The component lead in brass materials is on everyone's lips - in 2018, the material was added to the candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVHC).

A lot will change for distributors and users in the coming years - with us as your partner, you will always be up to date and ahead of the competition.

Do you have questions or already have a project idea?
