"The BEULCO drinking water standpipes consist of few easily accessible individual parts, enabling simplified maintenance. Attached is a compact valve combination with BA backflow preventer and a lockable outlet unit in one housing. The fully automatic backflow preventer provide protection for the public drinking water network against backflow, back-suction, and backflow of non-drinking water up to and including liquid category 4. This minimizes the unknown risk at the interface – the hydrant or supply hose line. Therefore, drinking water standpipes offer a solution for securing hydrant standpipes, even beyond the outlet height. Backflow preventers can also be retrofitted for existing standpipes."
