Water toys for St. Ida children

Since its foundation in 1950, the headquarters of the traditional family business BEULCO has been anchored in Attendorn. Many of the almost 200 employees come from the surrounding area or have moved here over the years. The company, but also each individual, therefore feels a special bond with their home town and a social responsibility for the people there.

Within the framework of agile project groups, employees work independently and flexibly on a wide range of topics within the company. The groups represent the interests of colleagues and enable collaboration in cross-departmental projects.

One project group developed the desire to create something for the community as a team. What initially started out as a charitable idea turned out to be a joint project that strengthened cooperation and allowed the creativity of colleagues to blossom.

The idea was born to make a contribution to the very young citizens of Attendorn. Of course, it had to be a water toy, because water supply is the core of the company.

One of a kind

In addition to various play elements, products were also modified to create a truly unique piece. Two BEULCO wall bushings - which in their original structure provide secure protection for pipes and cables in the house entry - were turned into a ball track for small balls.

On 24.06.23, the water toy was then handed over to the St. Ida kindergarten in Attendorn as part of a family celebration - the response from the children, parents and teachers was a complete success.

In the warmest of temperatures, the children threw themselves enthusiastically onto the unique toy they had built themselves. BEULCO is delighted that the toy was well received and is confidently planning further projects to give something back as a local family business.
