What happens after the apprenticeship?

In addition to my training as an industrial clerk, I completed my bachelor's degree at the FOM at the weekends, so I was able to combine theory and practice directly. I quickly realized that I belonged in sales and after my training I was able to start my job in internal sales.

Further training in the areas of business psychology, agile organization and digital transformation helped me to expand my skills in a variety of ways - BEULCO has always supported and encouraged me in this. As a home-grown BEULCO employee, I have managed to take on a management position today. I am responsible for our Industry BU and am actively involved in the digital transformation at BEULCO.

Lisa Berchter
Head of Business Unit Industry

I started an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at BEULCO in 2014, which I successfully completed in 2017 with a reduction. I enjoyed the procurement department the most and it was here that I had the opportunity to work full-time as an employee at the end of my training. After my apprenticeship, I attended the technical college for business in Olpe three times in the evening alongside my job with the aim of obtaining a state-certified business economist. I achieved this goal in January 2021. BEULCO supported me at all times, e.g. in preparation for exams or other tests. Today, I still work in Purchasing and am responsible for the procurement of semi-finished brass products, purchased and commercial parts as well as external work (e.g. annealing and/or coating of our components).

Manuel Kolisch

From 2013 to 2016, I did my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at BEULCO and was able to get a taste of the different areas and departments.

When I successfully completed my training, I was taken on permanently and have been working in sales ever since. I am currently in charge of the NRW sales area and am responsible for preparing quotations and entering orders, among other things.

Jana-Marie Kannengießer
Customer Management

I started my apprenticeship as a toolmaker in 1998. During my training, I was able to gain many insights into the company and of course I was taught all the skills of a tool mechanic. I worked in this profession until 2008. After that, I was given the opportunity to take over the management of the industrial-technical training and to deputize for the toolmaking department.
In 2009, I started the "Industrial Master Craftsman in Metal" training course and successfully completed it in 2012. In 2017, the opportunity arose again to take over the management of the press shop. I also still enthusiastically carry out my previous tasks as Head of Technical Training and Deputy Head of Tool Management.

Marcel Hupertz
Head of Training & Head of Press Shop

I started my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at BEULCO in 2007. After completing my training in June 2010, I was assigned to the sales assistance department. 2 years later, a position became available in sales, so I was given my first sales territory.

In the years that followed, I was given additional tasks and areas. I have been a team leader in our customer management department since 2017.

Mario Hachenberg
Head of Customer Management

In 2016, I started an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at BEULCO. This lasted a total of three years. During this time, I was able to gain a wide range of insights into the various departments (e.g. Purchasing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Financial Accounting, Human Resources) at BEULCO. In the last year of my apprenticeship, I decided that I would like to work in sales after successfully passing my final examination. I am still working there now.
From 2019-2021, first as a customer manager for various regions in the Water business unit. In 2022, I switched completely to the Industry BU - where I have been responsible for the larger OEM customers ever since.

Fabian Wüst

During my training as an industrial clerk, I was always involved in IT topics, such as designing new requirements for the ERP system or carrying out tests. I was very interested in continuing my education in this area and therefore decided to study business informatics part-time. As a result of my studies, I was able to familiarise myself further with the IT sector and take on additional tasks, so I switched to IT after successfully completing my studies.
